A Framework for understanding any passage of Scripture

1. Basic Principles for Understanding the Bible- helpful vs. not helpful approaches, with contemporary and historical examples (not helpful-imposing meaning, denying miracles, dogmatic approaches, etc.) 

2. Inductive Bible study method- genre, historical and cultural setting. Example of a passage where it really changes our understanding. Reference: How to Understand the Bible Book by Book by Gordon Fee.

3. Inductive Bible study method- an introduction to hermeneutics- context, word studies, original message. Example of how to apply this to a challenging passage of Scripture.

4. Inductive Bible study method- applying all of Scripture to our 2024 life
